I hired Hoffman Floor & Home to refinish my hardwood floors and install bedroom carpet. Anthony estimated the job and served as project manager. He gave me his cell phone number and responded to questions quickly even in the evenings and on the weekends. He was flexible with scheduling to accommodate other construction that I had ongoing. Although there was a mistake made during the repair/patch process, Anthony was committed to making it right. He did not disappoint me and was true to his word. In the end, the floors turned out beautifully.

Fabulous high quality service from a local business.
Made a large carpet order for my house from them. Had an issue with an edge coming up in a high traffic area over a year later. They came back the same day I spoke with them and repaired it. When I asked how much the service charge would be, he told me zero, since I was a “customer”. I wholeheartedly recommend you use this business for all your flooring needs.

What a great experience. These guys did a terrific job. I’ve been living in River Vale for 20 years and I have to say this was one of best experiences we have had with home improvements. The crew was careful and clean and very skillful when they came across difficult parts of the job. Anthony at the store was a tremendous help and again there large work crew were true professionals. You’re not going to get that type of attention to detail from any of the large chain stores. Make sure you consider Hoffman for any of your flooring needs.

This was the second time I got my hardwood floor refinished by Hoffman Floors in Westwood. Once again an excellent job of sanding, staining, and putting a water based satin polyurethane finish on my hardwood floor. The floor looks great! Got my floors refinished 14 years ago and was considering putting a new laminate floor down which would have been double the price. Anthony suggested we reconsider and could save money refinishing the hardwood floor we already had down. How many businesses are willing to save the customer money and suggesting a less costly alternative? Glad we did as the floors look brand new! Hoffman is a family owned store and Anthony and his father are good people. Allowed us to take floor samples home, allowed us to test a variety of stains etc., etc. They wanted us to feel comfortable and make sure we got what we wanted. Great experience and service. Highly recommend.

Seriously, these guys only have eight 5 star reviews, this will be their ninth. That’s crazy. I looked all around locally at carpet for our home in Saddle River. Many other local places sell the lower quality lines of the name brands. Hoffman, sells the good stuff, the high quality lines at the best prices. Anthony Sr. and Jr. are both excellent and were a pleasure to deal with. Everything came out well above my expectation. The runner on the stairs is awesome. Highly recommended. Anthony Sr. even came by to see the finished job, that was very much appreciated.
